HatLab Gelato needed stronger engagement with its audience. While the brand had a growing presence, conversations with followers were low. The task was to create content that did more than just show gelato. It had to spark interaction, emotion, and brand love.
My goal was to captivate the audience using copy as the primary driver. Instead of relying heavily on visuals, I built exaggerated and relatable use-case scenarios that made HatLab Gelato feel like part of everyday moments and emotions.
I developed a four-month content calendar, with each month exploring a different emotional or situational theme. Every theme used playful storytelling and real-life scenarios to draw people in.
Some key content series included:
Let’s Have a Talking Stage
I borrowed language from modern dating culture to create flirty, playful copy.
For example, positioning HatLab as the “partner” ready to be the one.
This made the brand feel personable, fun, and shareable.

Let Nothing Hold You Back
This series spoke to desire and indulgence.
Rainy weather. Busy days. Small excuses.
No matter the situation, nothing should hold you back from a cup of HatLab Gelato.
Even getting caught in the rain was framed as “worth it for gelato.”

Each post was built around:
Exaggerated real-life scenarios
Relatable human emotions
Conversational, witty copy
Clear product desire triggers

The content plan repositioned HatLab Gelato as more than a dessert brand. It became a mood, a craving, and a moment people could see themselves in.
Project Note
This was a content-led copywriting project focused on driving engagement and brand interaction.
